Hibiscus, roselle, jamaica, sorrel - the name may differ culture to culture, but this tart flower is a Caribbean staple, nonetheless - this simple syrup delivers a tart, floral, and gingery flavor profile.
Suggested Use: Enjoy 1 tbsp of syrup in an 8oz cocktail, tea, seltzer - or drizzle until your heart says stop over vanilla ice cream!
Ingredients: Granulated Sugar, Water, Ginger, Dried Sorrel (hibiscus)
I absolutely adore the Sorrel & Lime syrup. It's my favorite for mocktails, cocktails, and turning any drink into a show stopper.
I love to add this to my iced tea! The flavor is nothing like I have ever tried. This is my favorite flavor from Caribe & Co.
I’m Jamaican and I grew up having ginger in my sorrel. So when I purchased this syrup I was expecting sorrel with a strong ginger taste, because that’s how Caribbeans do it. Instead it was mostly sorrel with a hint of ginger. If the name was Sorrel with ginger I wouldn’t have had such a large disappointment. But since it’s Sorrel and Ginger I was expecting bigger flavors. I’ll try some of the other syrups but this was a let down.
