Sorrel & Ginger Flavored Syrup
Hibiscus, roselle, jamaica, sorrel - the name may differ culture to culture, but this tart flower is a Caribbean staple, nonetheless - this simple syrup delivers a tart, floral, and gingery flavor profile.
Suggested Use: Enjoy 1 tbsp of syrup in an 8oz cocktail, tea, seltzer - or drizzle until your heart says stop over vanilla ice cream!
Ingredients: Granulated Sugar, Water, Ginger, Dried Sorrel (hibiscus)
I’ve never had Sorrel flavored anything before, but this was delicious! I didn’t get much of the ginger though, which is alright! I do think this is a more savory syrup but it’s definitely still a 10/10.
I really love these , I had been looking for some fun flavors and I love sorrel. I use it in my nighttime winedown mocktail. The vanilla bean is perfect for my morning chai. The Jamaican coconut is perfect for a piña colada with a twist! love that they don’t have that artificial taste and it’s a good amount for your money. They taste great and the cherry on top is BLACK WOMAN OWNED !
